The Huichol art mask is a piece traditionally used in ceremonies and rituals by the Huichol indigenous people of Mexico. These masks are made with a technique known as "chaquira" or "chaquiras", which consists of fixing small colored beads on a surface, usually wood or clay, using beeswax or other adhesive material.
